Knitting for Profit Review by an Extreme Knitter

Introducing Knitting for Profit! I typically do not do product reviews for anything, but this knitting book just grabbed me. I have always enjoyed knitting. I learned as a child, but when I reached adulthood I found myself knitting every day; usually for more than 2 hours at a time. One day when I was doing an online search for some new patterns I came across an ad for this book, knitting for Profit. I thought to myself that since I loved knitting so much and it took up so much of my time, why not learn how to earn money knitting? So I got the book and here I will share with you my Knitting For Profit Review!

Knitting For Profit Ebook

The author of Knitting for Profit, Liz Raad, shares information from her own experience as a work at home knitter. At first glance I thought that the information was pretty basic, but honestly, the things she talks about are things that I would have missed without the book. She takes common sense business basics and cleverly puts them into strategies that anyone can work with to earn money knitting. Though I was skeptical at first (I am not one for self help type books), I read the reviews and decided it was worth a try.

This is the review that won me over…

I Would Have Quit If It Wasn’t For This Amazing Book!

“This is an amazing book! The strategies that are described in detail in the book are great and go through the processes of getting started in an easy step-by-step manner.
The amount of useful links in the book are fantastic and point you in all the right directions be it for buying yarn/wool or the little extra finishing touches to give you that professional look, or where to see what the latest fashions are for designing your own patterns.
I particularly enjoyed reading the real life experiences which just goes to show that it can be done and not to give up. I had reached a point myself where I wasn’t sure whether to keep going with my knitting and whether it was all worthwhile.
Liz’s book has done so much to reawaken my enthusiasm and to encourage me to get things started again and keep going, not to give up and achieve my goal.
Thank you so much for this book Liz”

Before Liz’s valuable advice, I had thought about selling my knitting, but never really thought there was a way to market it; and no wonder! The way I had things worked out in my mind would have never worked. That is one of the biggest pros of this book. Liz discusses in detail the fatal mistakes that knitters make when going into business for themselves. This was very helpful to me and made me see how I almost made the same mistakes she spoke of.

Why Buy This Knitting Book

If you are looking for someone to take your hand and go step by step through making money knitting, which I was, this book is for you as well. She talks technique, business, color matching, cost cutting, patterns, and everything else you could possibly want to know about how to make yourself a successful knitting entrepreneur.

As with any product, there are things that I would like to have seen added to the book. When it comes to Knitting for Profit, the only thing I was a bit disappointed with the way some of the examples were structured. I feel it would have been much more helpful had there been live websites to go along with all the examples. I also found the last few chapters a bit difficult to grasp since they were on record keeping and business. I don’t blame Liz for this though; I am simply not number minded so it took me longer to really understand everything well.

As I stated in the beginning, I am not one to write reviews. If I like a product I keep it to myself. If I dislike a product I keep that to myself as well. However, since I personally saw how much Knitting for Profit helped me create a whole new side of life for me, I wanted others to know exactly what they were missing out on. Now I have the tools to earn a living from home doing something I love. That is the greatest feeling in the world! If you have ever thought about making a business out of your knitting hobby, you do not want to pass up the opportunity to read this amazing knitting book!
